Mali Losinj

This is the biggest town on the island with 7000 inhabitants and at the same time the biggest town of the Adriatic Islands.

It lies like an amphitheatre in the romantic lagoon.

Mali Losinj was first mentioned in the year 1398 under the name of Malo Selo (“Small Village”) One of its tourist attractions is the baroque church Maria’s Birth

Tourism began at the end of the 19th century. During that time the luxury villas, summer houses and hotels were built in the lagoon Cikat, which have been preserved until today.

We recommend all nature lovers who love long walks, to go the path from Mali to Veli Losinj, a popular walk named Lungomare.
